V.)       Welcome Weekend/ Recruitment/IR Newsletter:  The Welcome Weekend for the IR department will be held the weekend of April 11-12th.  We will be working through IRSA to help set up housing for those participating and some other events.  Of primary interest would be to set up a tour of Syracuse and tour and assist with housing.  Let Missy know if you could house visitors and how many.

Recruiting:  We will be working with the IR dept. to pursue students they list as a high priority.  We will be attempting to match incoming students with enrolled students to talk with them and engage in email communication to make help them in their decision making and also to keep them informed on other important issues as an incoming student.

IR Newsletter:  We are trying to decide how best to create a newsletter.  Issues to consider:  Is it a waste of time?  Should this be a recruitment tool?  What do we expect from this endeavor?  Kasey Curtis will be emailing out to gauge interest and see what will be done on this issue.

IV.)         Surveys:  Please look at your surveys and fill them out.  They can be returned to Missy Rocks box in the AV.  There were some printed out and placed on top of the IR boxes.  Your input is important so please fill these out so we can evaluate the program and any improvements that can be made.

V.)          IR Website:  Missy is the new IR Dept. GA and she will be working closely with the Dept to help develop a more navigable website that is also more attractive.  There is a mockup that has been made and we are waiting for more feed back from the IR dept.  We will be keeping everyone posted on the developments.  We are also planning to hold a personal Website development that will help people have one on one instruction and help setting up their personal pages.
