Here you will find a monthly calendar of academic events organized within Maxwell School. There are very good quality academic events that go on all over Maxwell, but currently, there is no web page in which you can find complete information about all of them. We will try to classify the best ones to recommend them to you.

In this calendar you will also find the Seminars, Conferences and Workshops organized by Maxwell networking, such as the one performed with Ambassador Calderon last October.  As you may remember, Ambassador Calderon is the Acting President of the Conference for Disarmament of the United Nations. For the next months, we have done the arrangements for the following lectures in Maxwell:

  • Ambassador of Peru at the United Nations, Oswald de Rivero, member of the Security Council of the United Nations. He will speak about International Security, Peace and Development. Day of presentation, to be established in the next days.

  • We  took contact with   the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Dr. Miguel Insulza,  Arturo Valenzuela, former  advisor of President Clinton in Latin American issues and Jose Antonio Ocampo, Under Secretary of the United Nations for economic and social affairs. More than one of them   accepted to be in communication in order to invite them to give lectures in the following months. These activities could take place in the fall semester.

  • We spoke also with Anders Agherskov; advisor for the Integrity Unity from the World Bank, about organizing teleconferences, due to a programmed WB has for Universities. The only cost of them will be the price to pay for downloading the satellite signal.
